Do you love music? Do you also love to write? Scene[essence] is currently looking to take on a couple of new writing interns for fall 2012. 

 
What you can expect:
-Writing reviews for the latest albums in multiple genres, sometimes even getting to hear the album before it’s released to the public.

-Opportunities to interview bands, clothing companies, artists, and various other industry figures

-Opportunities to write creative features and op-ed pieces.

-Working with a close-knit group of music lovers on an up-and-coming music blog/online magazine!

-Opportunities to work closely with bands and industry professionals.

Requirements:

-Passion for music and the ability to objectively appreciate all genres

-Excellent writing skills (some experience with journalism is preferred; music writing experience is a definite plus)

-Professionalism

-Ability to adhere to strict deadlines/relatively flexible schedule

-Reliable computer/internet access
