So, check it out. We’re having a design contest that will give one of you a chance to be featured with YOUR NAME on our website.

We’ve had the same background image for quite a while now and we think it’s time for something fresh! So your task will be to design us an awesome new background. At the bottom of the winning design, we will have a watermark that says “designed by:” and put the winner’s name right there for everyone to see!

Here are the specs: The image must be 72dpi of course, in RGB color space and must be 1280px in width. The height doesn’t quite matter as much.

Here is a link that will allow you to download a template .png file with a transparent background to use in your design: http://sceneessence.com/files/Sceneessence_Template.png.zip – This will allow you to see how everything will line up on the site.

A couple things to keep in mind: 1] With a background for a website, less is more. Yes, it can be cool and creative, but the one that flows the best will win, no matter how simple/complex. 2] Obviously to go on the site, it will need to have the same sort of color scheme as what is already there. Here are the hex codes for the colors on the site: Dark Grey – #2e2e2d // Green – #9dd425 // Black – #090808 // Light Grey – #e8e8e8
